What are carb blockers?
Carb blockers, also referred to as starch blockers, are typically made from white kidney beans. This natural extract works by preventing the enzyme Amylase from breaking down carbohydrates and turning them into sugar. When amylase is blocked, carbohydrates pass through the body undigested, and as a result you don't absorb the calories usually absorbed from starchy foods such as pasta, bread and potatoes. Typically carb blockers come in a capsule or pill form.
